Administrative Medical Assistant (MAC) 4 months

Welcome to our Medical Assistant program!

The Medical Assistant program offers a hybrid learning experience over a duration of 4 months. Please note that this specific program focuses on MAC Administrative Medical Assisting, which is an entry-level program without EKG or phlebotomy training, or extensive clinical (back office) training.

To enroll in this program, please ensure that you meet the following requirements:

Computer Requirement: You must have access to a computer, including PC, Mac, Chromebook, or laptop. Please note that Google Classroom does not support cell phones or iPads.

Recommended: Shot Records: It is recommended to have your shot records, including HepB, MMR, Tdap, Varicella, flu vaccines (when in season), and Covid-19 immunizations.

Education Requirement: A High School diploma or GED is required.

AHA BLS Provider CPR Card: Possessing a valid AHA BLS Provider CPR card is mandatory.

Background Check: A background check is required for all students.

Please be aware that this class includes mandatory on-site skills classes. The specific dates for these classes will be posted for your convenience.

Additionally, before being approved for the class, you will need to successfully complete a pre-course exam.

To register for the program, a deposit of $300 is required.

• Onsite skills: Day classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (dates to be posted - tentative time)
