Clinical Medical Assistant (6 Months)

Welcome to our Clinical Medical Assistant program!

The Clinical Medical Assisting (CMAC) program offers a comprehensive training experience over a duration of 6 months. Unlike the MAC class, this program includes EKG and Phlebotomy training along with the clinical (back office) training.

To enroll in this program, please ensure that you meet the same requirements as the MAC class:

Computer Requirement: You must have access to a computer, including PC, Mac, Chromebook, or laptop. Please note that cell phones are not supported and are not used for Google Classroom.

Recommended: Shot Records: It is recommended to have your shot records, including HepB, MMR, Tdap, Varicella, flu vaccines (when in season), and Covid-19 immunizations.

Education Requirement: A High School diploma or GED is required.

AHA BLS Provider CPR Card: Possessing a valid AHA BLS Provider CPR card is mandatory.

Background Check: A background check is required for all students.

Similar to the MAC class, the CMAC class includes mandatory on-site skills classes. The specific dates for these classes will be posted.

Additionally, before being approved for the class, you will need to successfully complete a pre-course exam.

The tuition for this program is $3925, and there is a lab fee of $275 (please refer to the information sheet for additional miscellaneous fees such as book(s), background check, CPR, and exam fees).

To register for the program, a deposit of $500 is required.

Class Dates

• January 15, 2024- July 12, 2024
• Anticipate an estimated 21 days of onsite skills training. Tentative onsite days are tentatively scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays. Onsite days may vary due to the onsite requirements for EKG and Phlebotomy training.
